Whitelist


Eine Whitelist ist das Gegenteil einer Blacklist. Weitere Bezeichnungen sind Positivliste, weiße Liste oder auch Ausnahmeliste.

Attribute, die normalerweise auf einer schwarzen Liste geführt werden, können nun mit der Whitelist nicht zu einer Sperrung oder Ablehnung einer Aktion führen. Auf einer Whitelist werden also so ziemlich dieselben Angaben und Daten gesammelt, wie auf einer Blacklist.

In einigen Unternehmen wird eine Whitelist in der Form geführt, dass mit denjenigen auf dieser Liste bevorzugt gehandelt wird, z.B. HighSpender. Im Gesundheitswesen wird über die Weisse Liste Patienten bei der Suche nach dem geeignetsten Arzt oder Heilzentrum Unterstützung angeboten.
